A Late update again - due to two things. Sleepless nights and my laptop finally being returned to me from the repair centre this week.
March went by fairly quickly for us. It wasn't a particually good month.
Ian started his new job and is a little dissapointed. Some days he comes home fairly happy that he's made progress, other (more often than not) days he comes home upset that he's been bored, had nothing to do and seems to be getting nowhere. Fingers crossed that this month he'll make more progress and feel happier in his new job...
The (older) girls have been doing well as always. Jenna had gone off her food for a while - those of you who know Jenna know that is totally out of character for her, but she has gone back to her normal, eat-anything-put-in-front-of-her self ;) Bryony has been driving me mad over the Easter holidays - she keeps asking me if she can go to pre-school and telling me off for "not letting her go". It seems she thinks it's all my fault that she can't go to school during the holidays!
Not a great month for me at all. I didn't do any candle parties this past month - I thought I would take some time away from it and spend the evenings doing a few bits. The reality was that hardly anything got done and I spent most of my evenings thinking far too much - something I do very well. On March 16th I got a call from a friend, Rachel. It had been her birthday the day before so I figured she was just calling to say thanks for her card, but she was calling to tell me one of her best friends, and an old school friend of mine, had been killed that evening by a hit-and-run driver. Shock doesn't seem a strong enough word to describe how that feels.
Euan is still a very chesty baby, so we now have a referal up to the hospital for him. Hopefully we'll find out what is going on and what we can do to help him. He has nearly sussed out how to sit up from laying down - we have caught him doing it a couple of times, but he seems to only do it when he isn't actually trying to do it! He can get up onto his hands and knees and go backwards now too, so shouldn't be too long before he is crawling. Rhianna is a very active child - she crawls, pulls herself up and cruises. Not long until she's walking! She is certainly our most active baby of the four. She has also taken to not sleeping at night time - she'll sleep through the evening, but as soon as 1-2am comes along it is apparently party time. She is up and talking, singing and laughing with a bit of screaming mixed in for good measure. Sometimes this will go on for hours and then she'll go back to sleep and sometimes it is on and off all night. I've got a feeling that her brain is just ticking over and she needs to express that! She's developing very fast at the moment and that includes at night time!
That's all I can think of for an update this month. Hopefully news will be brighter for my next update!
