We do not buy Nestle products and any other product that they may profit from. Their reckless advertising of baby milk in 3rd world countries has led to the deaths of many infants whose parents do not have access to clean water and sterile bottles. We do not support KFC due to their decision to buy from inhumane chicken farms. The other major highstreet fast-food chains DO buy chicken from humane and regulated farms. Until KFC stop buying chickens that are forced to live and die in these disgusting conditions we will not be purchasing any of their products. Where and when possible we buy products that have the "Fair Trade" logo. This then means that all the people involved in the making of the products have gotten a fair deal. All too often the companies in 3rd world countries that actually harvest and make the products are not given their fair share. It is good to know that your money is going into the pocket of those that deserve it! This encourages those in the 3rd world to work and earn for themselves, helping them build better lives for their families now and in the future. Living on hand outs helps now, but won't secure them a future - help them earn the future they deserve - Traidcraft sells only Fair Trade goods and you will be able to find some brands of fair trade tea and coffee at your local supermarket. The Co-op sell many Fair Trade products.
