December 1st 2005

Another busy month has been and gone. Novemeber proved a more positive month than those that have recently passed...

Firstly - we got the news that our house buyers have sold their house! That was just the best news we could have recieved at the time! So we went off up to Northampton and surrounding areas (Milton Keynes, Yardley Gobian nr. Towcester, Bedford...) and did some house hunting. We saw 5 houses and in all honesty all 5 were nice, 2 of which were exceptional. However we could only have one house so we opted for one in Northampton (East Hunsbury area.) We are all very excited! It is a 5 bedroomed detatched house - downstairs we will have a playroom, lounge (mummy and daddy's area!) dining room, big kitchen, utility room, downstairs toilet (Yay! ;) ) and a reasonable size garden - I can't be doing with anything too big but we also need enough space for the kids to play. So there is loads more room there for our soon-to-be family of 7! Please keep everything crossed that it all goes smoothly then hopefully we can be moving to the Midlands in January! It feels weird - I've only ever been a southerner! It's still south of the Watford Gap, mind you ;) Big, BIG thanks to Karen who babysat the kids whilst we looked around at the houses and fed us all too - it was so much easier to get a good look round the houses properly. It would have been a nightmare otherwise!

The pregnancy is getting better in terms of how I feel about it! I am feeling a lot happier and the bleeding is less. I also feel the baby moving all day every day now! :)However the SPD has kicked in (if you want to know what this is you can see here) but basically: The pelvis is made up of 3 bones which are held together by ligaments. These ligaments are allowed to relax a little due to a hormone (relaxin) released during pregnancy. Sometimes they relax too much and cannot keep the pelvis stable and can cause seperation of the pelvic bones. The pain can vary from mild to unbearably servere. I had it mild with the twins but already I am feeling it quite bad. (I'm now 22 weeks - so potentially have 18-22 weeks to go!) So if you spot me walking round John Wayne stylee - you know why!

We put all our decorations up last night in time for the kids to wake up on December 1st to a Christmassy house! Their faces were fantastic - they are so excited now which is great because I am too! I have all the Christmas shopping done and wrapped now! I can't believe how organised I am this year! Just need to get all the Christmas meat bought and in the freezer! I suppose I better get the cards posted out too - but I feel silly doing that too early!

Bryony's 4th birthday is fast approaching too. We're not doing an awful lot this year as she had a big party last year. We're taking her to the local soft play place and we'll get a meal whilst we're there. I'm planning on my first attempt at a character birthday cake too although I'm not 100% sure what character I am doing and whether I'll be successful!!!

Anyway - all else is fine here with our lot. Things are mad but going our way for a change! Let's hope it stays that way! Take care all!
